Yogyakarta

in this post i uploaded some pictures while in Yogyakarta. so there's no specific outfit here because we were so tired and busy playing with our niece while in Yogya. nah in Yogya, hubby and i were visiting our eldest sister, and of course we missed our cute niece, Norelle. beside that i haven't been there for ages. we went shopping at Malioboro (famous shopping district that sell batik or souvenir in Yogya), went to Borobudur, and surely tried some local foods. hubby and i bought so many batik. as people know, Yogyakarta and the other towns in Java are famous with its batik. of course batik in Yogya wasn't that pricey than in jakarta.

about Borobudur Temple, i was very amazed with its architecture!! it was really artsy! so i took so many pictures on every corner. hmm what about the local foods?? unfortunately hubby and i didn't try much local foods. but there was an interesting place that i fell in love with their foods. it is called "Jejamuran". all of the menus were mushrooms. we tried mushroom satay, fried mushroom, and mushroom randang. so unique, isn't it??!! and surprisinglu all delicious!! wanna go back there oneday. 

oh one thing that i didn't like about Yogyakarta was the weather. the weather was like fire burning right through my skin. very very hot!! the heat was different than the sun on the beach. no wonder sister always complains about it on her twitter. but in the end hubby and i had a great days in Yogya.
