hubby's birthday!

hi guys.. what have you been up to?? hope everything is good. well.. been a while since my last post. i have so many things to do lately (yet so little time!!). there are couple of clothes order (alhamdulillah). so i have to design, discuss with my tailor, and doing some details as the finishing touch. quite hectic!!
nah.. hubby and i are thinking about my next project which is the mass produce of my label. oh please wish us luck that everything goes well.

back to the topic.. yesterday was my hubby's 27th birthday. so we went out for lunch at our favorite steak place called "Outback Steakhouse", just the two of us! i gave him a pair of shoes from Lacoste and vanilla ice cream cake as the gifts. so happy he liked the gifts. hmm.. for the outfit, i picked my own label "Why? by Yuke Purba" shirt from my closet. it was really comfortable to wear, loose cut and the details of the shirt make it looks chic. oh my new orange clutch that i bought from asos.com and my orange shoes perfectly made the look so bright. what about the make up?? yeah.. i was in the mood wearing dark color lipstick. so i think it was a pretty good combination. i obviously loved the result!!

i love batik

yeah i know it's kinda late to talk about batik since The National Batik Day has already pass by couple of days ago. but.. as like people say "it is better to be late than never". so yeah.. i wanna share you guys about these pictures. i bought this batik outer in Malioboro, Yogya (like i said on one of my previous post). i was like i wanna buy it when i first saw. and guess what.. it wasn't pricey at all. it can be used inside-out. orange color with flowery pattern on the outside while blue and white color on the inside. i think this batik suits for for semi-formal event or casual occasion. it depends on how you mix and match.

nah in these pictures, i picked white shirt and white pants to pair with this batik. i think the total look seems so soft. ah i can't wait for Danar Hadi Batik Fashion Show next month. Danar hadi is one of the biggest batik store in Indonesia. i watched their last year show on Jakarta Fashion Week, and all the collections were so gorgeous. anyways.. i was trying to wear an orange lipstick in these pictures. i bought this lipstick a long time ago but i haven't tried it because i wasn't confident enough. but yeaahh.. finally i tried!! and hubby said "it suits you!" hehe.
enjoy the pictures, and have a nice weekend!!

wearing my own label

yes!! i proudly tell you guys that i'm wearing my own label Why? by Yuke Purba in these pictures. this is the newest dress that i made, and obviously i couldn't wait to wear it and then took pictures of it. i currently like any neon color so i chose this neon lime in the fabric store. this dress has seriously made with a simple design, and the ruffle on the bottom as an added detail. so you can mix and match some accessories to complete your look. in these photos i matched this dress with a gold (cuff) necklace and a yellow-gold bracelet. pretty chic, isn't it?
so guys.. please gimme your thoughts about this dress!! i really appreciated, thanks!

last but not least, look at my face in these couple of pictures. really happy face, right?? yeah i think i was very happy wearing my own label. kinda bored with wearing other people's label. oh proudly present you Indonesian made. anyways.. for further info please send me an Email to yukehipp14@yahoo.com
okay, enjoy these pictures guys, have a nice day!!

JavaCove Beach Hotel

hi guys.. this post maybe the last post about my Java road trip. yeah we were in Batukaras, Pangandaran (the last town we went to) in these photos. took 9 hours drive from Yogyakarta. it was really tiring, so we extended our stay 2 nights from our first plan of 1 night. we stayed in JavaCove Beach Hotel. it is one of the most recommended hotel from National Geographic Traveler in 2012. we had to admit that the hotel was cozy to stay, and the staffs were very nice. i liked the exterior and interior, it was very nature-like and i liked the pool view from our room (as you can see on the last picture). this hotel was located right in front of the beach, and near with the restaurants that sell cheap seafoods (oh yeah Batukaras is one of seafood heaven i've ever been to!).

we took these photos before we went to the beach. so of course i picked a very casual outfit in my suitcase. i paired white tee to flowery shorts from Topshop. and not to forget to wear feather necklace (from Topshop as well) as the touch of chicness. that means i didn't want to look plain. i thought this outfit suits with the occasion to go to the beach (ah i can't wait for the upcoming beach holiday! i can't wait for November!!). hmm about my hair.. i felt very lazy doing my hair back there!! so i purposely to let my hair loose.. and voila! i got a very messy (good) look hair hahaha kidding!
i think that's all for now. i have to get back to work since i have couple of dress orders at the moment. see you folks on my next post!! have a good day xoxo
